InactiveI know that there’s already a forum on here for “feedings”, but I was wondering if any of you thought it might be useful to get a new one added for “feeding issues and aversions”. I was thinking of asking Karen to add one. Sometimes all of the great info about feeding aversions, feeding programs, therapy techniques kind of get lost among all the other feeding stuff.
Any thoughts?

InactiveThat sounds like a good idea to me.

InactiveI agree! I love the idea of adding a forum for feeding issues and aversions. I have trouble searching for old posts on that topic. They seem to get “lost” among the other posts.

InactiveOkay, so before I ask her to create one, any thoughts on names? Are you all okay with “feeding issues and aversions”, or do you have any other ideas?… “feeding aversions and feeding therapy” is another option, but I’m leaning towards the first.
I was thinking that maybe I would put together a few resources that could be stickied in under that topic, and we could move a lot of the relevant threads there that kind of got lost in the shuffle. Maybe some others want to help as well.
I’ve always kind of felt somewhat alone wrt to the feeding problems we’ve encountered. It’s hard to find good info when you need it, so maybe this can help others.

InactiveI think “feeding issues and aversions” is a good name. If you want, I can help you locate some of the “lost” posts.

InactiveFeeding issues and aversions work…. and maybe move the tube feeding under it?? I kind of feel it is lost at the bottom of the other forum?

InactiveI agree. I’ll ask her.

InactiveGreat idea. I like the name you chose too.

InactiveDone! Please let me know if there are any other additional changes that you think would be beneficial to the forum structure.
If you find threads that definitely belong under the new aversions category that you want me to move, just go into that thread and on the first post choose “Report”. That will get it to me I think.
If it allows you to change the email subject line, please add “ADD:” to the beginning. That way I’ll know it’s one to add.
Just try not to bombard me with too many at once! 🙂
If this doesn’t work then I’ll post an update.
Thanks!
PS – Don’t ever hesitate to ask me about updating the forums. Most changes are fairly simple and this message board is for you guys, so I want it to function the way that works best for you! 🙂
