i had surgery on my left hand for carpal tunnel on thursday. i wasn’t scheduled until 12:30——-i don’t do well without food for that long. i was fading fast by 10:30, but i didn’t want to have to be hooked up to an IV for 2 hours and i wanted to see sylvia sing at the “festival of trees” with her preschool class.
they let me suck on a mint to keep my blood sugar up, but i had a raging headache by the time i dashed from the performance, leaving sylvia with grandma so that she could see santa, and headed to my surgery.
the condition of my left wrist was about the same as my right one, but it has hurt me more afterwards. i had a harder time waking up because they gave me more meds to counteract the itching one of the meds was giving me.
with mt left hand wrapped and splinted with a half-cast and my right hand still pretty sore i am feeling fairly useless—-but i keep trying to do things, which probably only makes things worse….oh well….it will eventually heal.
my reflux seems to be getting pretty bad again. i have woken up 2 or 3 times recently with chest pain, and i’ve had it a couple of times before i even had the chance to fall asleep, too. i’ve just been taking gaviscon.
i just seem to be doing alot of whining and feeling sorry for myself lately—i’m sorry!

Hang in there Christine! You are definitely entited to whine once in a while!!!!!Try not to do too much no matter how hard that is because you want it to heal correctly or it will all be for nothing, so try to take it easy and enlist the help of the kids!!!!
