Hey eveyone! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of me and of Addy the past 16 months. I don’t want to jinx us but it seems that Addy has outgrown her FPIES!!!!! Sticking with Neocate only for so long was so hard, but well worth it. We are absolutely thrilled. She is eating EVERYTHING except diary. (Even some hidden diary like McNuggets)…we are trying to feed her heathly stuff but come on, she needed a treat after waiting 16 months for solids! Even though I think they are disgusting, she loves them! She is still on Zegerid twice a day but doing well. YAY FOR ADDY!!!! I just had to share the good news!

Totally awesome news – I just love reading these good posts. It is such an inspiration to new members who are just starting their reflux journey, wondering if it EVER gets better. You and Addy (and so many others) are proof that it DOES!! Speaking of good posts, I better get in and type one up too!!

Hooray for Addy!!! I used to always feel so bad when I though about her only getting Neocate. It must have been so hard for you to not give her food when she probably wanted it.

Wow, I havent been on in awhile….YEAH ADDY! that is such awesome and HOPEFUL news…..WHOO_HOO!

We are in the midst of the FPIES ordeal, and was getting very discouraged lately, but YEAH ADDY, now we have hope again

Its Food Protein Induced Entercolitis Syndrome. Basically meaning she couldn’t tolerate any solids until about 2 1/2 weeks ago. She drank only Neocate til she was 16 months old bc her body could not process any protein. Kind of like she had an intolerance to anything! It was rough but we are so thankful now!!!!!!!!
