Naomi, how is Ben going? Is he feeling better???
Hey Therese…
Ben’s doing better as far as the reflux goes, but now he has a whopper of a cold. I’m guessing that his reflux flared up due to drainage that I didn’t know about.. maybe???.. now it’s moved all into his nose. He is spitting up tons, due to the congestion, snot, etc., but doesnt’ seem to mind it too much, so that’s good. I am just struggling to get him to sleep now. Benedryl is working, but I’m afraid he is going to get addicted to that drowsiness.
I don’t think it was the bananas afterall, unless they were causing some constipation. I’ve added them back in, and as long as he gets a spoonfull or so of prunes along with them, he’s good to go!
I”ve noticed Alana refluxes sometimes if the post nasal drip is bad….normally when she gets up first thing in the morning. When she doesn’t have it no reflux (hence meds free…ya). I’ve been putting the vicks plug ins in her room (not sure if you have them over there…they just plug into the power point) and I’ve noticed she sleeps a lot better when she is snuffled up.
Good to hear there is no banana issue, they are such a good food to give
