I put Ryann down for a nap the other day, when I checked on her I smelled a burning/melting smell. I couldn’t find where it was coming from, but it was getting worse. I got the kids out and called the fire department because I knew it was electrical and possibly coming from the attic or in the walls.
Funny thing is…. I was running around trying to grab things like pictures and important house papers before my house went up in flames. I remembered the prevacid when I was already outside at the neighbors and the firemen were in my house. I literally pushed past this really big guy screaming that I needed the prevacid. I was too fast for him and got it. Crazy how that was the only thing on my mind… I didn’t want Ryann to suffer again even for one night! Too bad we live in a small town and now all the PD and fire dept. think I am crazy
.Turns out the airconditioner motor was burning up. Lots of oil and gunck in there for some reason. It is in the attic here in Texas which is crazy. I paid 3 different peopel to come and clean it earlier in the year because I thought I smelled something. So hard to find a dependable company that will really clean your system and not just “pretend” . Thanks for listening, I always feel better when I get things off my chest!
Hey, having had two refluxers I definitely understand running back for the Prevacid.
I always kept an emergency supply in the car in case we ever got stranded somewhere…..like 10 miles away at Walmart….the only place I ever went with my puking infant.Here in ND they wanted to put our Central Air in the attic, too. Nuts. We said, NO WAY, and they put it outside which of course cost us more.
