InactiveI’m sure some of you have seen this. It’s an e-mail about the dangers of hand sanitizer that’s been going around. It’s probably good for anyone with little ones to be aware of.

InactiveScary! Thanks for sharing…. we use it all the time!

In fact, I’m such a germophobe that at age 2.5 Sarah could already say “hand sanitizer”!

InactiveYikes!
We use it all the time too. I have four of them in the car, one in the diaper bag, one in my purse, one in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom. Myles even asks for it!
OK, but seriously this is scary stuff. I never realized such a small amount could be fatal. I also heard on the news that small children can sometimes lick enough of it off of their hands to become mildly intoxicated. Another thing to be aware of is that these products are made of isopropyl alcohol aka wood alcohol and can cause blindness. Fortunately the stuff evaporates pretty quickly, so I keep an eye on them until their hands are dry – especially Myles.

InactiveWow. I’m scared now!!!! We use it all the time too! I have it in a every room in the house since Kate was born because she was a 36 weeker and I was paranoid about germs too. Geez, I had no idea! Thanks for the info.
