HELP with Zegerid 40mg packs!

Hi All!

It’s been a crazy busy week here. We finally reached our breaking point and moved our little guy to BB w/ Prilosec, and I have to say, he’s doing much better! I don’t want to jinx us, but I probably already have. Naps are still poor, but I’m taking him to the doc tomorrow because I think he may have another sinus/ear infection, but we’ll see…

Anyway, I managed to talk our GI into prescribing Zegerid!! Actually, I burst into tears while I was on the phone with the nurse, and the doc called back later and agreed to do it!

Now here’s the big question…how do I mix it? Do I use Mylanta cherry supreme or tums? I want the easiest/most fool-proof/easy-for-baby way to do it! I’m still waiting to see if the insurance approves it, but we’re keepiung our fingers crossed!!

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Sorry, I have no idea as we never used it. But I hope that it’s the answer for you guys. Hopefully someone else can help if. If you don’t get answers soon enough, cotnact Dr. P. directly.

i mix mine as follow:

1 tablespoon of water and one pack of 40mg zegerid. we then give 5ml twice a day.
