High enough dose of Prilosec?

Logan has been on Prilosec (1.5ml once a day) for about weeks now, and shows some improvement. I give it to him at about 2 every afternoon. He is great through the night, but is very crabby and shows some signs of the reflux during the late morning and afternoon. I spoke to one of my ped’s nurses today and she said I could give him half in the am, and half in the pm. I also asked if they could have his next refill made without the flavoring. I got looking at dosage today, and it says that he shouldn’t be getting less than 3.5 ml. Right now his prilosec is: Omeprazole susp. 2mg/ml

Omeprazole 20mg

Ora-sweet

sod bicarb. 8.4%

I sent all the info I had on dosing(from here, and marcikids) to my ped. the nurse said she will definately have the dr look at it and they’ll call me. What do you all think?

How much does he weigh? His dose does seem very low, and marci-kids reccommends dosing three times per day. Once can’t possibly be enough.

Hopefully your doctor will read the information and give him a dosage increase.
