i was wondering if anyone has tried or used a jumperoo with there baby with reflux and did it make it worse was it ok, my baby has reflux and loves being able to stand and push off of you, i used my jumperoo alot with my other children but they did not have reflux. or even using an exersaucer are they ok with babies with reflux. and at what age did you start using them? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

i used the exersaucer with kendra and iam sorry to say that she spit up a lot in it. We started using it when she was around 6 months old. we haven’t tried the jumperoo. we also tried the dumbo with some succes, but kendra didn’t like being in it for very long. Christine (Ndrose) mentioned on another post that her baby did spit up a lot in the dumbo. every chld is so different. it might work for you. i hope this help.

interestingly, my 2nd, loved the jumperoo. and, he didn’t spit up in it as much as the exersaucer. he absolutely couldn’t tolerate the bumbo.

we did the jumperoo for shane..and he LOVED it! and he did spit up A LOT more in it.. but it didnt bother me because i was just happy that we found something to keep him happy!. But he did start to not like it as much anymore when he turned around 7 mos or so.

Bryce has a Jumperoo and he LOVES it (although he’s starting to lose interest in it now). He did spit up in it once in awhile, but we usually just tried to wait awhile after he ate to put him in it and that helped a lot. I think we got it for him when he was around 10 months old.

Sarah had a doorway jumper and loved it as well. We definitely got our moneys worth out of it!! I say it’s worth a shot! Good luck!

Alana loved it to. I used to do it prior to her feed (by the time we started usingit she was out of the feed, play, sleep circle and so was up and playing before a feed).

Ben loves his exersaucer.. tolerates it very well. Havent tried a jumperoo.. and he doesnt mind the Bumbo seat, but he spits up A LOT in it.. he isnt sitting independently yet, and he tends to lean forward in it, mostly now to try to eat his toes…
