Just wondering, Abby still at 10 months has absolutely no teeth. I know it is wrong to compare, but Kayla had 4 by now at least. Do any of you have any little ones who still had no teeth at this age and when did they eventually get a tooth?
Our pediatrician told us (and I’m sure you’ve heard it before) that getting teeth as early as 2 months is considered normal…and getting teeth as late as one year is considered normal. It just varies sooo much! I know that doesn’t make you wonder/worry any less…
Let’s think on the BRIGHT side…you haven’t had to deal with a fussy teething baby yet! YAY!!!
My nephew didn’t cut his first tooth until he was over 10 months old and I’ve known two babies who didn’t cut their first until after their first birthday. They’ll come and then you’ll know what all the big fuss is about teething.
Probably for a reflux baby late teething is a blessing. Maybe she’ll be done with reflux when she goes through most of her teething episodes.
My cousin didn’t get any teeth until she was 16 months. She’s a lot older now but has a good mouthful and other than being able to talk underwater she is pretty normal. I wouldn’t worry- at least she won’t get into trouble for biting anyone.
Aidan got his first tooth when he was almost 11 months old!!! He only has 4 now, my older son had 5 at 9 months, I got so worried I thought Aidan would never get them, but after he cut the first one, the other three came in back to back, 4 in one month! Don’t worry, gums are almost as strong as teeth (my grandma takes hers out all the time b/c she says she cat eat beter WITHOUT them-LOL)
