more kids with reflux!!!!!

daisy has been having reflux problems on her mission and has been put on prilosec. leif has been sick for a while with a cough that just would not go away—i mentioned it could be reflux related—-and the doc suggested the same thing and put him on prevacid. i can’t believe there are so many in our family that have problems with this. elliot tells me he has food come back into his mouth—-but it doesn’t happen often enough for me to worry about it.

WOW you and your family are a true testimony that reflux runs in the family! My husband’s family is the same way, go figure why my 2 girls have it too!!! Does Kevin have reflux as well or just you?

Yikes! I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe your family could be the poster family for Prevacid and get a discount! Sorry, I know it’s not funny. I hope the Prevacid helps Leif and that Eliot’s doesn’t get any worse.

heather—that WAS funny!! leif is pretty freaked out about going on prevacid. he doesn’t want to have to rely on meds—i told him he could opt for surgery. they will check him for H-pylori if the prevacid doesn’t improve things—maybe he will luck out and just need antibiotics and be able to get off the prevacid.

kevin does not have reflux—but he had an inguinal hernia—so we’ll blame all the kids hernias on him.LOL!!
