My daughter vomits duing feeding

[Anonymous]

I have a 1.5 year old daughter who has reflux problem during birth. She hates to eat and when she drinks milk, there is always an interval. So for example a 8oz milk will have to be given in 3 intervals. She drink quarter, walks about, drinks another quarter, does the same thing until the end. Sometimes all of a sudden she can throw out all what she drank and that’s really sad to see her do that. Sometimes when she eats, she jumps and that can sometimes cause her to throw out. She is on Motilium and Prevasid, and that sometimes help. Is there any other ideas which you can give me to see my baby does not throw up…..pls help.

Is she drinking cows milk? I can’t do dairy products and I will actually throw up milk if I drink it. Just a thought. You could try rice or soy milk for a month and see if it makes a difference.

Hello and welcome,

It sounds like she may have a dairy intolerance. Have you tried a dairy free diet for her? Many reflux babies are intolerant to dairy.

She is on formula milk from birth.

She is also eats rice eveyday and she is a fussy eater. Anything new food she tries, she throws all what she ate out. That’s why I am so scared to give her anything new besides her normal food.
