My son STINKS?!

Okay, so this might be a weird question but,

Why could Nicholas stink so bad? It’s mostly just the back of his head and his neck. He’s usually sweatty anyway. He gets bathed every other day, and b/c of the reflux I change his clothes a couple times a day. Even after I bathe him, he stinks like sweat. Thoughts?? He is swaddled when he sleeps b/c if his hands get near his face, he is totally ADD. I’m surprised he breathes when his hands are near his face. He can not focus on anything else. I would like to unswaddle him, but not sure how to. So he sleeps in a onesie.

Could it be dried formula behind his ears, or, stuff (not to be gross, but we’d call it “neck cheese”) in his little neck? We used to have that problem with Dagney when she was chubbier and younger, you just miss those little places when you’re washing them!

sylvia gets a really stinky ear—-at first i thought it was an ear infection, but then i realized that the cartilage just folds flat against itself on one ear and the dead cells just build up as they slough off—–kind of like the “neck cheese” denise is referring too.

also, a good rub down with baby lotion does wonders—-even in their hair if they are little enough.
