My GI told me to use Malox but I see more mylanta posts – they are the same correct?

you can use either. they have the same effect.

Everyone talks about Mylanta Cherry Supreme because it doesn’t have aluminum. If a baby ingests too much aluminum it can cause major issues later on. However, our ped GI said that you would have to give a baby an insane amount of maalox or regular mylanta for the aluminum to be a problem. I was still nervous about it though, so we stuck with the mylanta.
