Mylanta vs Mylicon

Ok I am new to all this and I am not quite sure about this. I know mylanta is the maker of mylicon. Mylicon does NOT work for my boys. I noticed alot of you give your children mylanta cherry supreme. Why do you give them the mylanta? Is it the adult mylanta? and how much do you give them. I am trying to find something to work for my boys. They are on prevacid and zantac, (just started the prevacid) and am trying to find something to help them in the meantime til the prevacid starts working. and maybe longer if it doesn’t work through the day for the amount they are on. Any info on they mylanta would be great!
