New to message board/ son had ph probe yesterday

Hi! My name is LeAnne and my son’s name is Tyler. His birthday is July 2009. He was a good sized baby when he was born but since then he has gone down hill in the growth charts. he is currently in the 3rd percentile in height and 12th in weight. he just does not like to eat. he acts like he could go without it and be fine. he has been dealing with acid reflux since he was about 2 months old. he is still spitting up all day and he just had an upper endoscopy and ph probe test done yesterday. we have to wait 2 weeks for the results of the ph probe, but the dr that did them said the endoscopy looked fine to her. i was wondering what numbers were considered “bad” on the ph probe test. sometimes i would look at his numbers and they would be 2.3 and sometimes they would be 7.4. i am not sure what they do after this test and what to expect. any information would be GREATLY appreciated! Hi! I’m so sorry you’re dealing w/ this… I only have a sec but wanted to chime in real quick…

I can relate to much of this post but wanted to let you know (in case you wanted to respond back) that my 2nd son has/had growth issues.

Also, we just had a pH probe w/ my 3rd son 2 wks ago. The ‘normal’ pH is in the 7s. Low is anything under 4.5. Usually my ds’s # was in the 4s & 5s. When he would nurse it would immediately jump to 7/7.5. Then, after nursing (5-10min later) it would dip to 2s & 3s.
