Do I dare say it? These past few days have been so great! DS seem so content for the first time ever in his little life! I feel like I have a “normal baby” He finally smiles and coos, and can sit without crying. I hope it lasts! Thank you ladies for all your help and support. I have learned so much from you all!

what do u think was the magic trick the prevacid or neocate?? or both??

I think its a combination. We were on Prevacid prior to Neocate and there wasn’t much of a difference, but prevacid doesn’t help with MSPI. I could definitely tell a difference about a couple weeks into the formula switch to Neocate. And now a huge difference since the pepcid was added midday. It’s hard to tell what actually caused all the issues and what was helping because there were too many variables. We stopped rice and went to simply thick as well 3 weeks ago. So who knows..I’m just sticking with what we’re doing right now..he seems to agree

I hope your baby is still having good days! Boy do I remember what a blessing it was just to a have a day where you felt like things were kind of normal! (What’s normal anyway!) 🙂

Thanks Michelle! I actually think that post was an omen because we had a week of good, then back to bad for a couple more. We ended up switching to Zegerid which has made a world of difference! Now its been about 3 weeks and things are “normal” again! Thanks to these ladies here, I had never heard of Zegerid before then, let alone how to mix it the way we needed to.
