Not sleeping!!! Gas and Teething!!!!

yep i have heard mylicon drops make gas worse, because they cause all the little bubbles to form one big bubble, or something along those lines;)

i am sorry about the teething, my son is too and its HELL at night, i am still not sure if its from the teething alone or not yet, but hows your son during the day? shanes good during the day..

Aidan is fine during the day for the most part until the tiredness catches up to him. He plays, smiles,and laughs but when nighttime roles around forget it!

I think maybe its a combo of teething, gasiness, and worsening reflux symptoms. Maybe we need a medication or dosage change.

Anyone else have this happen?

Also if anyone has experienced this type of gasiness where it wakes their babies up, what did you do? (Aidan passed gas so bad and loud that my boyfriend heard it and he was sound asleep next to us beforehand!)

i havnt experienced the gas waking them up, but the only time shane was extremely gassy was when we were on a milk-based formula. has he had anything new to eat? but i think the reflux really hits them when they lay down to sleep… along with the teething probably making it worse! that is what is going on with shane.

anyhow i hope he feels better soon!

yeah Trace was really gassy on every formula until we went to neocate and his body adjusted to it. the only thing i could think of that would help you is to modify his diet? is this gassiness all of a sudden? or has it been constant?
you might also want to up his prilosec dose-and what form are you using, is it compounded? are you getting it made correctly and every 2 weeks?
