InactiveWhen did your little MSPI gerdlings outgrow the milk and soy intolerances? Carson was skin prick tested and is not allergic to milk or soy, but trust me, he has an intolerance to it.
Just wondering how old your little people were when they could tolerate it, if at all. Thank you for your responses. Just something to look forward to!

InactiveDylan is 3.5 and can tolerate it as ingredients in foods, but not whole milk, and anything with soy is really still a problem. Who would have known using pam on a baking sheet could create such a monster!

Dylan can handle cheese on pizza, (still no yogurt, though) and has been able to for a while now. I want to say since 2 years old?
I think other babies here have outgown all of the intolerances, though and at an earlier age, so hopefully someone else more positive will chime in.
BTW, Dylan also tests negative but clearly has an intolerance…..

InactiveMy son just turned 16 months this week & failed a trial with cheese last week. It took him a week to recover. He was unable to sleep, could not comfort him in any way (screamed & banged his head up against the crib until he was bleeding from his mouth), reflux flared up & even had projectile vomiting. The allergist told me to try it at 15 mths, 18 mths & then at 2 years. He said they usually outgrow it by now?
My son did test positive 6 months ago for milk and soy with a skin prick. When we took him back 2 months ago & tested him again they are saying he outgrew the allergy and now is an intolerance. Either way he still has a problem too!

InactiveColton turns 20 months is 3 days and is still very intolerate to soy and whole milk. We can feed him foods with milk in them but nothing with soy.

InactiveI thought I’d jump in to give you a bit of a different perspective. Owen was very intolerant to dairy and soy from the time he was a month old or so, but we were able to start him on soy foods by the time he was 10 months old, and now that he’s close to two he’s very close to eating all dairy foods (still on soy milk). I actually think that he’s probably grown out of the dairy intolerance but we just haven’t bothered with a trial since he’s doing so well as it is. So I think he’s probably been over everything since he was about a year and 1/2 (?).
