InactiveI am so tired of this! These kids hardly go out in public and they continue to get strep throat! Alexis doesn’t even have tonsils and I got my removed shortly after I had Taylor since I was the carrier and she still gets strep throat! Taylor vomiting and Alexis just a little whinny at night since Taylor was going to be seen might as well have Alexis seen too! Strep test Alexis bright positive and Tay’s in office came back negative, they are sending out a culture, but the Peds MD states her throat is bright red like Alexis’ most likely strep as well! Both on antiboitcs again, this just doesn’t end!

InactiveOh no Sue! I can’t believe they have strep again! Could someone else in your family be a carrier? I don’t really know how that works.
Well, I hope they get feeling better – and it stays away this time!

InactiveUgh! That sucks! I would ask for prescriptions for all of you so that if someone doesn’t have it but is carring it, you will all be treated..
Thinking of you!!!!

InactiveSo the Peds MD called yesterday and said that Tay’s strep culture came back negative, which I guess it good, but she is still pooling her baby food. She prior to this enjoyed eating her baby food. She started since Thursday, pooling and vomiting, throwing a fit during baby food time. Today is Tuesday, she is no longer vomiting still pooling and gagging since by the time she actually swallows it is so much since it is full of salvia. What do you ladies think? Her throat still hurts? Or do you think she’s teething as well? I’m just so lost, the baby food was the saving grace for us, since she did so well with it unlike her bottles!

InactiveYou know what, Sue? Bryce has been doing this same thing. He just pools his milk and won’t swallow at all! And then he gags on it eventually, the way you said Taylor does. I have no idea what’s going on. It’s been going on for like 4 weeks now. At first I thought he was teething (and he still might be, I guess), then I thought maybe a sore throat, but I doubt it would last that long. Anyway. I’m not being any help to you.
Just wanted to let you know that I know how frustrated you must be. I hope they both start eating again soon! -
