primadophilus? milk free?

Hey everyone…

I bought a new probiotic for shane called primadophilus. I didn’t notice that on the very bottom its said “may contain a minimal residue amount of dairy or soy protien”. What does this mean? Is it enough to effect him? What in the world is minimal residue? haha. Does this effect your dairy intolerant children?

Not sure if I should keep giving it or not!

The first probiotic I bought Cooper said the same thing and well it caused us some problems, but I think every baby is different. If you are in the least bit concerned I would stop giving it and buy something else which I know is a pain b/c they aren’t cheap.

From what I understand, they grow the bacteria on the milk/soy, but they don’t add any extra to it. I was too worried to give it to Ben, so I found one that was totally milk free. They’re out there; you just have to look.
