This is what I’ve discovered about the probiotics/acidopholus we’re taking…
We switched to the “childrens” kind(doesn’t matter what brand). it has 3B units/dose. The one we used before that had 12B. I was trying to give them a few doses/day. Within a few days Henry was having trouble at night again. We went back to the 12B one and alls well. I even gave him an extra shot of it last night. I think it may be the amount of units.
WHY the difference??? Well, one theory is that the childrens one I have isn’t dairy-free. It says has trace amounts of dairy. Although Henry has been able to handle cheese in his eggs.
So, I doubt it was the dairy. More than likely, he (and Lucy) needed a stronger dose of it. Hence the 12B worked better.
Their systems must be all outa whack is all I can figure. not enough “freindly” bacteria in the digestive track. He was probably born like this. He had a “yeast” diaper rash 2 days after he was born.
Thought I’d share this (what I think) is valuable information
