Hailey had the most awful reflux snore for the first few months of her life, accompanied by that lovely high pitched stridor wheeze. She was diagnosed with larygiomalacia (floppy airway) and stridor. She used to wake up each morning sounding like she had a terrible head cold. Also when she would choke on her bottle, she would have the stridor sound. We haven’t heard this for ages, so I thought it was gone, but it’s now back with a vengeance!
Lately she’s been choking again on her bottles. Also she’s been choking on her “reflux” and coughing and gagging etc. She’s been waking up sounding gurgly and during the day when she breathes it sounds like she’s snoring.
She hasn’t been on a proper dose of meds for over 2 weeks now, and now we’re waiting to get some CaraCream so we can get the right dose into her. Any ideas. Why would this suddenly come back?
