Hi,
Thank you so much for responding.
He sometimes spits up two to three minutes after and sometimes up to ten minutes later. He spit up a little today again. I have tried using less water to dissolve as well as just putting it in his mouth to dissolve with no water (hold it on his cheek). Any suggestions on what I should do? I obviously can’t redose because I have no idea how much he spit up. However, have you ever heard of people splitting the dose and giving it twice a day?
He is taking the solutab. He used to be on Zantac as well so I got that compounded because of the awful mint flavor. I didn’t realize you could compound Prevacid. Why would you get it compounded?
Again, he has not shown any symptoms that the pain is coming back yet so I know I should just sit back and see what happens. Perhaps some of it is getting down. However, I am not sure how many days it would take for his esophogus to get inflamed again. I could not bare to see him in the kind of pain he was in before we got him on prevacid.
Thanks again!
