Abby had some diarrhea when she started on the Zegerid but it gradually got better and really got better when she started solids. It seems that I have heard of quite a few who get the diarrhea but it improves with time.

Like Robin said, it will probably pass. Many times an adverse reaction to a new drug passes once the body adjusts.

One mom here, (Nataliachick7) says she uses dissolvable tums instead of Mylanta to give Zegerid to her son because of the diarrhea that is common with Mylanta.

Yes, it is always something. I hope you can resolve it soon.

What happens when you give 4ml of Zegerid without the Mylanta, but 10 mins prior to the bottle?

Tomorrow I am going to give the 4ml w/o the Mylanta before the bottle to see what happens.

yeah, i did the tums disolvables instead of mylanta.
