kevin and i went to see star trek last night. it was fun—i used to watch it when i was in 6th and 7th grade—it was reruns by then, but i was in love with captain kirk and spock. my senior year i still listed them as my heros.

anyway, when the show was over and the theme music started playing, i realized that i knew the words to the theme song—–and they were never sung on the series or on any of the shows!! what a nerd i must be——hopefully it’s just because i’m a piano player and had the music to it.
