Staying on the Wedge

[Anonymous]

My DD has been sleeping on a wedge (a small one with things on the sides to keep her on her back) since she was about a week old. Well, once we put her to sleep in her crib she would wiggle down and out of the wedge. So, I got a wedge that is the width of the crib and goes under the sheet thinking that she just wanted a little more room (she HATES being swaddled or confined in any way). That hasn’t worked either and now she scoots down off the wedge and turns sideways in her crib. Does anyone have any good suggestions to help keep her on the wedge at night?

You might try a sling (like a tucker sling or danny sling). They attach to the crib and then you strap your baby in and it holds her up. We’ve been using a danny sling (we had the same problem), and it’s worked great.
