Still can't handle dairy???

DS is 5 months today! I was off dairy for about 3 1/2 months and just re-introduced about 2 weeks ago. Well he was fine until about a week later and now his “colic” like symptoms are back with a vengence. He isn’t sleeping well, he is SUPER fussy and his stools are really runny and mucousy. If it is the dairy that is upsetting him wouldn’t it upset him immediatly and not a week later?

He is on 3mg of prevacid 3/day. (I think it needs to be increased because he is almost 17 pounds.)

It can take up to two weeks for the proteins of milk to build up to cause a problem. 🙁 Sounds like you need to give it a little more time. It is very typical for LOs with MSPI not to outgrow it until closer to a year or later. Hang in there!
