InactiveI’m at a loss here. What in the world do you all put your little ones in for the night? Ben is currently way too big for his 6-9 mo. cotton sleepers, and I’m having a hard time finding some that are bigger. For some reason, the pajamas for 9 and up tend to be more short sleeve/pant/ or short combos. He doesn’t stay under a blanket, so I’m afraid he will be too cold in these, BUT I know he is too warm in the footie sleepers when he first goes to bed.
What to do?

InactiveI use one piece long sleeve cotton pajamas with feet in the summer for my babies. Gap, Children’s Place, and Gymboree make them. It may be hard to find them in summer but if you search on ebay I’m sure you’ll find some. Do a search for “gymmies” or “pajamas” with some of the name brands I mentioned and I’m sure you’ll find some.
Here’s a few I found for you. Not sure what size he needs. I like the children’s place ones the best. Those are the ones Myles is wearing in a size 24 months. Maybe check their website to see if they sell them year round.

Inactivei know what you mean. i think it depends on if you have the air on @ night.
when it was first getting warm at night.. i only did a short sleeve/ long pant pj combo..
than when we put the air on i do a one piece pj with the feet that you and christine were refearing to ( the cotton ones). and during the winter i put a onsie under them.

InactiveI don’t have Sarah under blankets either so most of her pjs all resemble what Christine found on ebay. I really like the footed light weight cotton sleepers but they can be hard to find. I was so disappointed when Sarah outgrew her 6-9 month pjs and I couldn’t get a packaged bundle in the baby aisle like I used to. I never realized how hard footed pjs would be to find for an older baby! Good luck!

InactiveHi Naomi,
I was curious so I looked this up for you. These are the pj’s that I love and they are so cheap!!!

I put one of these on Myles each night with an oversized t-shirt on top. (We keep the house pretty cool).

InactiveI found some of the one piece cotton sleepers at Wal Mart and at Toys R Us in the clothes section and very inexpensive… There wasn’t much variety, so I bought a few of the same….

InactiveThanks everyone! I’ll look at Walmart, and Lauren, we dont’ have a Carter’s store, just stores that carry the brand.. and for some reason, they don’t carry the footie jams past the 9 mo. size.

InactiveI use the wonder kids brand from K-mart. It’s $ for a set of 3 and it works good for us. i use the 12m size. they are a little too big on Kendra, but not too bad. I hope you can maybe find something there.

InactiveI just wanted to bump this. I ordered 3 pairs of these back when I originally posted this, and have LOVED them. I went back today and found that they are on sale even more. I ordered two more sets!! I peeked at the baby girls’ selection and they are really cute too!July 6, 2007 at 4:36 pm #38722Anonymous
InactiveThat is good to know for the future. I have recently this week just started putting Cooper in a long sleeve onesie and his sleep sack. This way his feet stay warm and his arms aren’t cold either. I found he was getting too hot at night in the footed sleeper and the sleep sack and for some reason I don’t want to not use the sleep sack… I know I’m weird.

InactiveThose are so cute and I love the CP jammies, but they are more expensive usually so I don’t buy them that often but I bought 7 pairs in 18 and 24 mo for now and later!
Thanks for posting! I love a great deal! -
