Okay I think I would like to talk to my doctor about changing from Zantac to Prevacid, however she won’t prescribe due to it not being approved in infants unde age 1. Any advice for talking to her and any information I c

an provide her. She tends to be very tolerant of me and my ‘research’ if it is good and valid.

I would definitely point her in the direction of the marci-kids research. Alternately, you can even ask Dr. Phillips from marci-kids to call her directly. Check out the website yourself and see what you think. Or ask her to check out her own sources- up-to-date- online is a good search engine or even a medline search. I can pull a few links for you.

I was able to convince my son’s doctor to prescribe Prevacid (and more importatnly – the appropriate dose or Prevacid) by printing and faxing the informaiton from http://www.marci-kids.com to her.
