Here we are again. 🙂
So, Averi had been sleeping through the night and having great naps probably ever since she was about 14 months old(now 20months). However, for the past 2.5 months she hasn’t been sleeping solid at all! At first I attributed it to her getting her 2 yr molars, but now I”m not sure if that’s the only reason she’s been waking at night. When she first started teething she would wake up screaming in pain and would take a while to settle down. Lately she doesn’t seem to be in pain per se, but she’s still waking up screaming bloody murder and waking up CONSTANTLY throughout the night. Her 2 bottom molars have pretty much broken through(took 2 months), but I’m thinking now her uppers are coming down. She’s always been a HORRIBLE teether and I keep reminding myself that I always second guessed myself in the past when she teethed(b/c it was soooo bad), but I just don’t know if there’s more to it this time. Maybe b/c it’s her 2yr molars that it’s SO SEVERE?! I guess, I”m curious what others think about what’s causing her restless sleep and if I should just CIO w/her. CIO worked back when she was 14months old(no teething/reflux issues), and w/in a night or 2 she was sleeping through the night. I”ve tried this again w/her teething and she just DOESN’T let up. Is this something I shouldn’t do while she’s teething, or what? Also, her naps have been pretty great these last 2 weeks(back to normal before teething). I really miss my sleep. I had finally started to get some and then these flippin teeth decided to show up 6 months before she’s even 2. Ugh…
BTW, there haven’t been any new foods intro’d or anything. So, I’m thinking that wouldn’t be an issue. Any thoughts???
