InactiveThe past two nights Justice has been waking up coughing. Tonight he woke up coughing and actually spit up or threw up. The next time he wakes up I’m going to try some mylanta, but what does it sound like? I know my older son still had reflux until he was a year old, but we were able to take him off meds and he was fine. Justice seems fine off meds, but I know there are times I still question if he still has some reflux. I’m not sure of how it all works, but that is just how it seems to me. I guess I should also say that the coughing is only during the night. No congestion like it’s a cold. Sorry, it is late and I am up due to him not sleeping well.

Inactiveits an antacid.. but diff than the rest because it forms a float on top of the stomach.. to keep anything from actually coming up… mylanta just gets rid of the acid. but there is aluminum in it.. like the reg. mylanta..

InactiveI was recommened gaviscon too. If you do a search on it there was a reason why it was so good. I will try to find it for you. In the mean time…the cough could be reflux…especially if the mylanta/gaviscon does seem to help. But could it also possibly be due to the change in weather. Brianna has started coughing some in the AM(6am or so when she is still asleep in her crib)…I know it isn’t reflux becuase it is almost 12 hrs after eating. My mom suggested it could be a reaction to the pollen or something in the air becuase we have been outside a lot. Oh one more thing, my GI said only to use the regular strength gaviscon becuase that is the one that has the stuff in it that is supposed to make it so good(I am going to look for that post now.)
