My dd Abby is teething and a lot of moms rec. teething tablets by Hylands. I just bought some but noticed that the inactive ingred. is Lactose. I know that this is different then milk proteins, so I wasn’t use if she can have these since she has a MSPI? Does anyone know?
Lacotse intolerance is different from MSPI. Babies with MSPI cannot tolerate certain proteins in milk and/or soy products, while lactose intolerant babies cannot break down the lactose (a sugar) in milk. So, if she’s not lactose intolerant, and they don’t contain any milk proteins, she should be fine with them.
You’re welcome. I just gave Myles some Hyland’s. He’s been cutting this one molar for over a week now and I hate to keep giving him tylenol and motrin. Let’s keep our fingers crossed toghether that these things work.
