Gina,
I actually was eating the coco/chocolate from enjoylifefoods for a while, but we had a little bit of a backslide with McKenzie so I took it out to see. I really think it was meds more than food but for now I am keeping it out. I actually got an IgG allergy test done on McKenzie to see if it could offer more precise clues as to what is bothering her…but we will have to see. Some say it is not that accurate at this age, but my friend who was having problems with her LO said that she got it done and when she took out the food on the list, she was able to stop giving him meds all together. McKenzie is still on a good dose of prevacid…I definatly think she is a combo food intolerance/immature LES gal.
You are luck to be below pregnancy weight. I am still about 3-4lbs to go. But I am scared to try and lose it becuase when my weight dropped before that was when McKenzie stopped gaining weight. So I am just stuffing myself full of rice and chicken to make sure they stay on. lol.
As for the wheat thing, bread is my most favorite food so there is NO way I will keep it out of my diet forever…it would just be too much…lol. But seriously, I know there are other moms who had to avoid wheat/gluten and I have never heard them say they couldn’t reintroduce it. And like I said, i have been able to have a sandwich once a week as a reward for myself. No problem or anything…the only thing I did notice was that I felt much more full after that sandwich than after my normal meals…but I think it is like anything that you avoid for a while…it will take your body a while to get used to it again. 🙂
It is funny how alike our LO are…I was dairy/soy free for Brianna and I thought that was hard, but I would take that any day of the week now…at least then there were a handful of restaurants I could go to…now I just avoid them all.
Good luck! PM me if you every need to talk/vent!
