Anyone ever hear of a baby getting their 2 year molars really early? I swear I
can see Marisa’s two bottom ones through and she’s only going to be 17
months on the 11th. It’s hard to tell for sure as she doesn’t let me in there
but when she was crying last night and laughing this morning I thought I
saw them on the bottom next to the one-years. It’s so early though and she
doesn’t even have her eye teeth yet. Would explain her really messed up
sleeping and tons of saliva and drippy cough though…

My kids have all been early teethers. Liza had all twenty of her teeth by 15 or 16 months, Ellie by 18 months and Myles will likely follow suit since he has 16 teeth at only 15 months.
How’s Marisa eating these days? Myles is still picky, picky, picky.

She’s eating pretty well these days, knock wood, for her anyway. We’ve
been
having more family dinners and that has been helping too. She’ll try most
things from my plate or my husband’s – or at least touch them. And she’s
decided from that that she likes beef/broccoli (Chinese) – well the beef
anyway, tuna noodle casserole (a bite or two), cucumber and spaghetti
(few
bites). Slow going but definitely an improvement – until her next strike
anyway.. She still has a good amount of purees/jars too for now although
I’d like to phase them out if she’d eat fresh fruit and/or veggies.
Sorry to hear Myles is still picky – maybe our babes just need extra time
to grow out of it?
As for the teeth, wish I knew for sure if they were coming/in. Hate giving
her Motrin and/or Tylenol every day…knb182007-1-8 17:42:54

That’s good that she’s sampling foods. That’s definitely a step in the right direction. It’s slow going with Myles. He will only self feed carbs. Nothing else. But Ellie was the same way and the turning point for her was around 18 months, so I’m holding out hope for Myles. I’d like to stop buying baby food soon, too. I’ve been keeping gerber in business for five years now!!!

came right after the back to back viruses and ear infections – so Marisa had
been getting Tylenol and/or Motrin at least once a day if not more for
weeks.
I really think the two-year molars are in on the bottom but it’s hard to tell
for sure. She has a doctor appt Thursday for yet more shots (ugh) so he
should be able to tell then.
I bet Myles is just like Ellie and turns around soon. It’s slow going here too
but definitely improvement over the past couple of weeks. But I’m sure we’ll
have a big setback after the shots Thursday – seems we always do…
