InactiveGlad you all had a nice well deserved vacation. I’ll say a prayer that all goes well with Dylan today. Please let us know how it went.

InactiveYour vacation sounds great! Glad that you were able to get away and enjoy the family a bit.
Good luck with Dylan’s surgery- I’ll be praying for a succesful surgery and a fast recovery. (and of course Carter is always in my prayers.)

InactiveIt sounds like you made some great memories. I will continue to pray for your family. I had a friend who’s daughter had this type of surgery and she did great so try not to worry to much.

InactiveHi all, and THANK YOU!!! Support here is awesome!
I have to say, as far as surgeries go, this was one of the easiest. Dylan got to drive a car to the OR at the hospital, which he loved, and then I held the mask on his face until he fell asleep. It took about 1.5 hours and then they came to get us. Dylan slept the entire recovery time only waking for a few minutes. I told him we were going home soon and he proceeded to remind me we were going to Dunkin Donuts before going home

He slept a few hours more when we got here, but now is acting pretty much like himself with very limited pain. So far just one dose of regular tylenol is all he has needed aside from what they gave him in the IV at the hospital. His eyes are really red and look like they should hurt, but he is doing great.
Anyway, I promise to be more supportive soon! I feel like I am so far out of the loop! I am starting a new job (long story) on Thursday. Two weeks of training, and then exclusively working from home. It is going to be great!
Thanks again!
Ann Marie

InactiveI’m happy to hear that Dylan did well and he’s not in a lot of pain. That’s great news.
Also, good news about your work from home job! That will be terrific for you. What will you be doing?June 26, 2007 at 9:06 pm #38056Anonymous
InactiveI’m so glad to hear that Dylan’s surgery went so well. That’s great that he’s doing well and not in much pain. Isn’t that weird? Bryce had a different surgery on his eye, but he wasn’t in any pain after we got home either. The surgeon said the eye area goes numb and you don’t feel pain or something like that.
Anyway, glad he’s doing well! Good luck with the new job!!
