I was wondering if any of your children are taking the Prevacid capulets? They are blue and pink…….I have to open them up and put the little white dots (1/2 of them)….then I mix them into a little spoonful of applesause. She does take it really well……thank goodness it is no longer Zantac!!! She hated that.

Anyways……I was just wondering if any of you ladies had to do this? thanks!!

Hi, I have been doing that for months now. Joel from reflux solutions instructed me on how to do (when the docs. were no help). There may be some past posts on it if you do a search. He said to give it in a couple tablespoons of applesauce so it was just acidic enough to break the energetic coating, then wait 30 mins and feed a whole meal that wasn’t acidic. Hope you have success with this method. We were so happy to find something that finally worked for her!

We did that as well, initially with prilosec, then prevacid.
