The blowing is supposed to help her eardrums pop back out basically but we

can’t get her to do it. And realized i forgot to answer your other question –

we’re going to Ocala Florida (horse country) for a family wedding.

Jill, thanks for the info about Aidan’s tubes, I’m glad to hear the surgery went so well. I guess I’ll see what the ENT thinks.

Karen, has Marisa had benadryl in the past? Jason has an opposite reaction to it and gets WIRED!!! You may want to try it out before you get on the plane if she has never had it before. Hope you have a great time!!!

Nissa’s right – if you are going to use Benadryl, try it out ahead of time. It makes some kids tired, but others hyper. Actually Dimetapp infant drops might be better, they have an antihistamine (helps with a runny nose) and a decongestant. At least that’s what I always use for my kids, and I find it works well. It doesn’t seem to make them either tired or hyper.

Benadryl makes Marisa REALLY tired so we may not use it – too short of a

flight and then she’ll be sleepy the whole day. Am thinking just Motrin and a

decongestant and fingers crossed. Thanks everyone!
