what is the consistency of caracream?

I just had our pharmacy fill our script with prilosec and caracream. it is so thick that it barely pours out of the bottle. and DS is refusing to take it and our insurance won’t let us get another script filled.

When you first make it, it’s more watery. After it’s been in the fridge for a few days, it really thickens up. Marci-kids told me to take it out of the fridge 5 minutes or so before giving it, but I was afraid of leaving it on the counter. They also told me that you can add a ml or so of water to the suspension without affecting the concentration too much. I used to leave it out for just a couple of minutes, but it didn’t make too much of a difference. If your fridge is too cold it might get really thick. I never have a problem pouring it out of the bottle, but it is thick. Hailey never much liked the taste either and it was hard to give for that reason, but now she takes it pretty well as she’s older.
