We did an upper GI at around 4 months or so, a swallowing evaluation at around the same time, and then booked our endoscopy at 6 months, but didn’t get an appointment until around 14 months. I personally found the Upper GI useless… will only tell you if there’s structural abnormalities. I found the endoscopy useful- it was able to tell us if there was damage, or if the PPI had been helping, and also look for unsual cells. If things aren’t getting better and there seem to be other problems, then I’d do it. If it just seems like plain reflux that’s well controlled, then I personally wouldn’t do it, if it wouldn’t change anything. My dd had a feeding aversion, gagged/chocked, vomitted out her nose, was chronically miserable and constipated, so we needed to find out what was going on- was the PPI working, was there damage, could they see anything. I needed those answers, so we went with testing.
