I am sooooooooo glad that your new pediatrician gave you the meds needed. I hope you see an improvement…keep us posted. Also, I would be so curious to know if you are in Pittsburgh,PA by chance? This sounds like exactly what happened to me with Andy when we took him to the GI……just put off and told that he would “outgrow” it and to not “spoil” him too much. It still annoys me and it’s been over a year ago.

Best of luck on this new trial of meds. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and your sweet baby girl.

I’m actually just outside of Philly. The GI I saw yesterday is part of the CHOP network. It’s just so hard for me to believe that someone who specializes in children’s diseases would be so callus about a child being in pain.

For anyone considering having a pH probe study done on their child, please push for the Bravo Probe by Medtronic, as it is much easier, more comfortable and reliable. Here’s some more information that I posted about it before:
