Can I mix the Zegerid with his solids and give it to him that way? He always hated the taste and now since we are on solids I figured this will be easier. If so, do I need to give it with a fruit like applesauce or pears? Thank you in advance!

I know it can not be given with anything that may be acidic. I had asked Joel if I could put it in Pedialite when our daughter was sick and he didn’t recommend it because Pedialite has some type of acid in it. You may want to email him and ask him. His email is andrewsjj@health.missouri.edu.

Please let us know what you find out as my daughter is close to being able to have solids and I would love to know

I do remember Joel once saying that it could be given with a non-acidic food like rice cereal.
