Hi, we used the packets for months and whilst a PITA they worked. Yes they are delayed release so you have to wait the 30 mins. It was fiddly but what I did was strain the packet through a tea strainer so I ended up with the beads and the strwberry granules separated. Then I roughly divided the beads in half. Put 1/2 in a glass with a bit of water and a few of the strawberry granules and mixed it together. Then I used an eye dropper (I enlarged the hole a little) to adminster it. Yes it sound very fiddly but you have to do what you have to do.

I would try and get the capsules for the caracream. they also have the advantage of coming in 15mg.

Unfortunately there are no solutabs in Aus so its the packets or the capsules!

Probably as many Aussies as Americans…take the PPI’s incorrectly (well per capita LOL). But a few of us out here are trying to educate the people!

People have no idea with PPIs here either. I work in a hospital and so often I hear the patients saying they have terrible hearburn when they’re on PPIs. The problem is that the med isn’t being given correctly- just given any time irrespective of when they’ve eaten.

You have no choice but to use the capsules for the CaraCream. The instructions are all based on the capsules. When you go get the caracream, make sure that they’re for 15mg capsules (or 30, if that’s what you’re using). They first told me to add 8 capsules, not realizing that ours were 15mg instead of 30, so Hailey wasn’t getting enough medication.
