Bouncy Chair Making Reflux Worse?

if you go to the upper right hand corner of the screen, you’ll see the ‘settings’ button & from there you’ll see ‘Edit Profile’ & from there you’ll see ‘signature’

if you put your baby’s age, meds, doses of meds, formula, etc

then I won’t have to ask about them all the time & bother you

so: maybe it’s the meds at night, or lack thereof?

what meds & what timing of them?

Ben spent ALOT of time in his bouncy as a little guy. It was the only place that I could put him after he ate where he wouldn’t throw up all over. He still refluxed, but not nearly as badly. Now… if you are using the vibrate mode on the seat, that may make it worse.. it seemed to bother Ben when we used that, so I stopped.

I think it all depends on what kind of bouncy seat you have. If the baby is slouching than the reflux can be worse. We always swaddled Justice very tightly and then put him in his bouncy. That way his body wouldn’t slouch. Also, we left his legs out and just threw a little blanket over his feet. As the other ladies said he slept in his bouncy for a very long time. Once he outgrew it he went into an amby bed and then in bed with me. In bed with me nursing all night long is what worked best.
