:Zantac dosing- my/other’s question: https://www.infantreflux.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9539&PID=82914#82914so, that being said: you can start at 5mgs per kilo, see how your baby does and then have ‘room’ to go up to as high as 10mgs per kilo5mgs per kilo:11lbs divided by 2.2 = kilos, so11lbs divided by 2.2 = 5 kilos5 x 5 = 25mgs total for the daythe liquid is 15mgs per ml (15mgs/ml – check your bottle)so 25 divided by 15 = 1.7 mls total for the dayyou can divide this into 2 or even 3 doses however you want- for example if bedtime is the worst time, then give .7mls in the morning & 1ml at nightor divide it up however you want, making it a total of 1.7mls for the day10mgs per kilo:5 x 10 = 5050 divided by 15 = 3.3mls total for the daydivide it up however you see fit over the day so that the total for the day is 3.3mlsor, after trying 5mls per kilo for a few days (1.7mls total for the day),you can gradually try increasing it until you get to the 10mgs per kilo dose (3.3mls total for the day)
