We are new to the whole diet thing. Only about a month into it so far. As of so far, my son is off dairy, soy and gluten. I’m sure there’s things I’m missing, but just cutting out as much as I know to is doing a wonder of good for him. I’m getting his intolerances tested to make sure I’ve got the right things. He is 14 mths and about 24 lbs.
So for my questions…
1- With a diet dairy/soy/gluten free, how do I get enough fat for him?I understand it’s essential and know I’m not meeting the needs for it.
2- Anyone ever notice your refluxers burping when you’ve changed their diet like this? I just can’t figure this one out. He’s never done this before. I don’t mind it, but I notice that it’s different for him and wondered why it came on for him. Burping is a good thing I’m thinking. Isn’t it good for him to be releasing this air?
