InactiveI haven’t checked the label, but my MIL has been giving it to Kaelyn and she hasn’t had a reaction to it, so my guess would be that it doesn’t have dairy. Is it possible that he’s not allergic to soy, but he’s having an intolerance problem (which wouldn’t have shown up on the test)?

InactiveHow old is your son? I agree with Kim, the symptoms he’s having would indicate a possible intolerance.

Keymasterrice milk or even potato milk, perhaps with added flax seed oil? there’s been recent discussions of this

InactiveYou could try another formula (cheaper one) to see how he does on that. How about Good Start Soy? Supposedly, the soy proteins are partially broken down in that and maybe it would be easier for him to digest? Hailey’s milk intolerance was gone by 18 months. Prior to that, milk trials were unsuccessful with the symptoms you described.

Inactivei havent tried any “regular” formula in a LONG time. hes been on Elecare since Sept. ok let me ask you this. do you think that I should just “do it” or should i ask the doc. really the price of the Elecare isnt really a problem. WIC covers it and will continue to cover it if he needs it past 1. i think im just ready to see him progress like a “normal” child. hes not walking (my dd didnt until now) and he doesnt have any teeth. does that make sense?
where can you get potato milk? what about Rice milk?
i dont know about flazssed oil either
