InactiveHello
I am a mum of a 2,5 year old and a 7 week old girls.
My 7 week old Nadia suffers from Reflux. Her sickness has improved a lot since
1. she is on Gaviscon
2. i have changed my diet (breastfeeding)
3. we keep her uprightI cannot crack her sleep – ever since she was born she sleeps on me on the sofa. Each time I put her down in her moses (even now we have propped it up), she wakes up in 10 minutes, either bringing food up or crying.
I have just bought ar pillow and hoping this will help.I was just wondering whether you could share any advice, as I am getting no sleep and getting quite desperate now.
I have had no such problems with my first born girl, so i do not know how to deal with it.
I do not want to get in bad habits but we kidn of already have. I sleep with the side light on, so I cna deal with her quicklly if she is sick. And she sleeps on me.Not good at all.
Please please share some advice.
Thank you so muchDecember 15, 2009 at 5:07 pm #65130hellbennt

Inactivewhat helped me with both of my refluxers is having them sleep in a papason swing! .. (not just any swing) .. they both loved it .. and when they would wake from the reflux .. it would swing them back to sleep.
then eventually they slept on their tummys in their crib … the stomach sleeping helps a lot!December 16, 2009 at 10:42 am #65135Anonymous

InactiveWe had the same problem. My daughter has severe acid reflux with Sandifer Syndrome. We couldn’t get her to sleep. She would wake up after 10 minutes. I researched different pillows and finally decided on the “Nap Nanny” It keeps her at a 30 degree angle and she sleeps at least 6 hours plus. This has been our life savor!
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
