We went to the doctor on Monday and the doctor agreed to give Jack 7.5mg/Prevacid 2x a day but said she would never go higher. In her defense Jack has only been on Prevacid for 6 days. She said she has seen great success with Prevacid 7.5 2x day and we need to see how he is in a month. I brought all the MARCI-Kids things and she was not impressed and said there is no studies to back this info up. I guess I will wait and see. Jack has gotten better during the day but nights are HELL-no sleeping, groaning, wiggling around etc…

I was thinking about breaking his 15mg dose into (3)5mg doses instead of (2) 7.5mgs-any thoughts on that???

So I was wondering if anyone was in NY state-we live about 60 miles from NYC, not far from CT or PA either so I was wondering if anyone has a doctor that they use that has put your kid on the MARCI-Kid dose??

Thais is in NYC. She commented on a doctor in the link that Laura talks about. Her name was Dr. Nancy Pitman, I believe.

there are tons of studies i believe to back that up. dr phillips knows what he is talking about. the marci kids site has all of the studies.

The three way split may help, but you could maybe ask to use Zantac or Pepcid mid-day. There are a few moms here who’ve found the combination of both meds to be helpful.
