there are probably only a few of you still on this board that will remember this——i’m wondering if anyone knows any info about the gal who had her baby taken away from her because of suspected munchaussen by proxy? i can’t remember her name or her child’s name—but i do remember that her baby was a girl. i was just wondering how that whole story played out.

Christine, I was thinking and wondering about this the other day too! I believe her name was Kelly??? and she called her daughter Princess Mya. I even tried to find something online but couldn’t. Hopefully, someone will have an update.

I do remember her name was Kelly Pledger and her baby was Mya, if you go to Carepages she use to have one for her but it was recommended to be deleted due to legal issues with the family. She still keeps in close touch with a lady name Jan who’s son is very sick his page is Montgomery Rose, they call him Monty. Kelly postes messages of support for the family and Jan in her blogs does write in asking for prayers for Kelly and her family since they are still going through rough times. I’m not sure when that last post was but it really seemed like she still did not have Mya back yet. Janice Gables, Samantha’s mom has a carepage was well. Alexis’s mom2007-6-12 16:39:14

I actually follow Monty’s story on his care page (he’s having a really rough time right now). I’ve noticed Kelly posting, and I’ve wondered what was happening with her, but she never posts details.

Funny how a lot of us have her in mind lately…..I was thinking about her the other day, too. Such a sad case. I hope Mya is doing great and gaining like a champ and healthy as a horse!

It is sad – but what made me think about it – I frequent another support site and a woman was just banned from the boards due to inappropriate behavior. I just went back to the last time someone was controversial – and it was here with Mya.

She posted on Monty’s site recently. Mya and Monty recently had a chance to visit (implying that she has custody of Mya again). I guess whatever was going on got worked out.
